GITI-Formula V1 Race Challenge 2021 kicks off with fiercer, more exciting race action

The heat is on! After a year-long break off the track, a much more exciting races of GITI – Formula V1 Race Challenge is now back on the grid!

Presented by Phoenix Fuels, GITI-Tires, powered by PLDT Home and supported by FamilyMart , Limitless, Brembo and West Racing Cars in partnership with Tuason Racing, GITI-Formula V1 Race Challenge started the first round of its series last September 25-26, 2021 at Clark International Speedway.

A total of 10 racers competed in two classes. AM Class had Nuzest Racing Team’s Cesco Dino, Phoenix Pulse Racing Team’s Aira Medrano and Joaquin Garrido, Julian Colvin Tang of Toyota Marilao Obengers Racing Team, and Autoholic Raceform’s Julian Neri and Sebastien Soto.

While 4 drivers competed in the PRO Class namely Growl-Thule Racing Team’s Jussi Hoikka, Toyota Marilao Obengers Racing Team’s Daniel Miranda, Red Diwa of OTR Racing Team and Milo Rivera of Frontrow Racing Team.

The race battle started with Daniel Miranda and Milo Rivera fighting for the top position on Race 1 and 2 wherein Daniel dominated, taking over the champion pole position for both races. However, Champion Slalom Milo Rivera made a comeback on Race 3, followed by Growl Thule Racing Team’s Jussi Hoikka on Race 4 who also managed to clinch the top spot.

For the AM Class, Obengers Racing Team’s Julian Colvin Tang showed his limitless potential and amazing racing skills as he took the top spot from Race 1-3. Phoenix PULSE Racing Team’s Joaquin Garrido managed to secure the championship title during Race 4.

Fans and spectators can watch thru race challenge broadcasts on these dates: 1st round will be aired on October 20 and 2nd round will be on October 27 which will air on Tuason Racing’s Facebook page.
