Geely Philippines has brought in a new variant for the Coolray which is their first and best-selling model to date. The new Geely Coolray Sport Limited is P20,000 more expensive than the previous range-topping Sport, coming in at P1,218,000, but has notable new features that make that increase seem trivial.
The most prominent change is the new wheel design that’s now gloss black (but retains the 18-inch diameter size). There are no other aesthetic changes in the exterior, but at the back there’s now a powered tailgate.
Inside, it looks the same but the front seat bottoms now have a cooling function. It has three levels of cooling that can be controlled from the 10.25-inch touchscreen on the center of the dash.
In addition to those three, all Coolray variants that have a panoramic sunroof now have an improved cover. They did away with the semi-see-through they’ve used before and now utilizes a solid cover that matches the color of the headliner, making the Coolray cooler, literally. Geely Philippines said they’ve implemented this change before this Sport Limited variant, but it’s worth noting.
There will only be 1,000 units available for the 2022 Geely Coolray Sport Limited, which is now available in all Geely dealerships nationwide.
