Bentley is raising the bar in luxury with the introduction of the new Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB). Increasing the Bentley range to five models, this latest version offers the best rear cabin experience by building on the strengths of the Bentayga, a model that defined the luxury SUV sector upon its launch in 2015.
Distinguishing the new Bentley Bentayga EWB is a wheelbase stretched by 180mm (or more than 7 inches). Necessitating changes to the underfloor, side panels and roof, the extra length is all added on the rear door, creating an exceptionally luxurious rear cabin that is larger than that in any other model in the luxury segment. The stretched wheelbase, along with numerous rear seat accoutrements, allows the new Bentley Bentayga EWB to emphasize wellness and the wellbeing of passengers.
Further ensuring these is the Airline Seat Specification. This feature offers maximum relaxation in the rear, thanks to backrests that recline 40 degrees, making it easier for occupants to sleep. Other key features include Seat Auto Climate, Postural Adjustment, additional cushion and backrest bolster adjustment, plus heated rear-door and center armrests.
Throughout the new Bentley Bentayga EWB’s cabin are new craftsmanship elements that bolster the model’s class-leading interior. The first application of Bentley Dynamic Illumination delivers lighting through handcrafted leather, while finer sewing threads create Bentley’s softest, lofted quilt to date. Customers can also choose from an endless array of trim combinations.
Complementing the ultra-luxurious cabin elements are further refinements to the chassis and powertrain. Included among these are the standard electronic all-wheel steering and the Bentley Dynamic Ride, which afford the new Bentley Bentayga EWB dynamic abilities.
Powering the Bentayga EWB is Bentley’s proven 4.0-liter, twin-scroll turbocharged V8 gasoline engine developing 550 hp and 770 Nm, allowing the model supercar-level performance by combining immense power with impressive fuel economy.
Since the Bentayga’s launch, the model has dominated the ultra-luxury SUV segment through different powertrains, genuine off-road capability, hybrid technology, bespoke specifications and record-breaking performance. The new Bentley Bentayga EWB extends these characteristics by highlighting Bentley’s new focus on wellbeing.
