Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has officially launched its latest versions of the Isuzu D-MAX and Isuzu mu-X in a summer musical event dubbed the “Isuzu Summer Music Festival.” The event was held from April 21 to 23, 2023, at the Alabang Town Center. The launch was celebrated with free test drives, dog shows, car club meet-ups, afternoon games, and live performances from popular OPM artists to entertain the whole family.
IPC highlighted the new features of both models during the opening event. The latest Isuzu D-MAX now features a new two-tone front grille, 18-inch matte dark gray alloy wheels, and a new body color called Islay Gray, giving it a rugged and sporty look. The new mu-X, on the other hand, was introduced as a “Premium Family SUV” perfect for road trips, especially this summer season. It features a fresh new look with a sleek two-tone front grille, a new 20-inch alloy wheels design, and a classy new color variant, Norwegian Blue.
The new Isuzu mu-X takes the family experience to the next level with its new owner-friendly features, including the Smart Power Tailgate with Step Sensor. This new feature allows owners to open the tailgate automatically through advanced key detection and sensor technology, making the loading and unloading of luggage more convenient.
IPC emphasized the durability and safety features of both models. The Isuzu D-MAX and mu-X run on Blue Power technology and feature a 4JJ3-TCX diesel engine that optimizes performance with fuel efficiency. Both models have been awarded 5-Star Safety by the ASEAN NCAP for their active and passive safety features, including the Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) with Smart Duo Cam, which is loaded with Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go Functionality, among others. These features make daily drives safer and more convenient for the whole family.
