The all-new BR-V becomes Honda PH’s best seller

Just a little more than a year since its launch, the all-new BR-V continues its momentum as it sold more than 5,000 units to date. This makes it the best-selling nameplate in Honda Cars Philippines’s current lineup. It’s not surprising since it immediately garnered over 1,000 reservations during its launch last November 2022.

It also means that its overhaul in design and functionality paid off for Honda as it resonated well with their customers. But what are the really enticing things about the BR-V?

  1. SUV Styling

This generation of the BR-V steered towards the minimalist design but more robust contours. It’s more squarish than before that makes it have a more dominant stance and an SUV look. This is further helped by its 207mm of ground clearance and the 17-inch alloy wheels giving it a stronger presence on the road. You can also opt to have Honda Genuine Accessories that will certainly give off style points while adding function to your BR-V.

  1. True to MPV’s values

The BR-V is bigger than before and Honda maximized that for the benefit of all occupants, including their belongings. Legroom and headroom were improved for all three rows. The added dimension also gave it a larger floor area at the back for cargo, even with the third row seats up. There’s also added tricks like the one-touch tumble 2nd row seats, dive-down switch for the third row, and seat height and steering wheel adjust for the driver. The interior is also plush for the VX and V variants as they get leather upholstery while the S trim gets high quality fabric.

  1. Powerful and Efficient Engine

Under the hood of this MPV is a 1.5L engine putting out 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. It’s also slightly upgraded with dual overhead cams which will give it better power delivery compared to the single overhead cam from the previous generation. This is paired to Honda’s tuned CVT that shifts smoothly and utilizes every bit of the engine for your usage.

In a fuel economy run with the Automotive Association Philippines or AAP, the three CVT BR-Vs all achieved more than 20 km/l figures. The S CVT got 22.62 km/l, the V CVT had 24.71 km/l, while the top trim VX got 23.49 km/l.

  1. Premium features and advanced safety bits

MPV are built for the family and as such, creature comforts and safety should be prioritized for its package. Thankfully, the all-new BR-V doesn’t skimp on those areas. It has a 7-inch high-resolution display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Speed Sensing doorlocks, LaneWatch camera, and Remote Engine Start.

Safety is ensured by dual front and side airbags, rear camera with guide lines, ABS with EBD, Stability Assist, and Hill Start Assist. The top of the line VX CVT even has Honda Sensing technology that includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, Lane Keeping System and Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Collision Mitigation Braking System, and Lead Car Departure Notification.

  1. Convenient Ownership Experience

Aside from building a reliable MPV, Honda helps you in ensuring that the car is well kept after you take it out of the dealership. It only needs a preventive maintenance service (PMS) twice a year or every six months, or every 10,000km, whichever comes first. You can bring your all-new BR-V to any of Honda’s 37 dealers nationwide where you’re guaranteed for top notch service by skilled technicians.

The all-new BR-V starts at P1,090,000 for the S MT and tops at P1,390,000 for the VX CVT Honda Sensing. Honda Cars Philippines is making it more accessible with their Next Gen Deals Promo that gives PHP 20,000 savings on all variants and low all-in downpayment options (subject to bank approval) until July 30, 2023. You can also win a 10th-gen Apple iPad or PHP 2,000 gift certificate when you test drive the BR-V at any Honda dealership and if you proceed with driving it home, you’ll get additional PHP 10,000 savings.
