Asian Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations Throws Full Support Behind the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit

The Asian Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations (AFEVA) is proud to announce its wholehearted endorsement of the forthcoming 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, organized by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP). The summit is slated to take place from October 19th to 21st at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex.

AFEVA President Edmund Araga has expressed profound enthusiasm for this landmark event, highlighting that it symbolizes a return to the origins of AFEVA’s establishment in 2017. The inaugural 1st ASEAN EV Summit, orchestrated by EVAP, was the pivotal moment when AFEVA was officially founded. This historic gathering marked the beginning of a collaborative journey, fostering a sense of camaraderie among ASEAN Electric Vehicle Associations, which has significantly propelled progress and innovation within the electric vehicle sector.

Currently, AFEVA boasts an impressive roster of member associations, including EVAP (Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines), EVAT (Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand), EVAM (Electric Vehicle Association of Malaysia), EVAS (Electric Vehicle Association of Singapore), and Indonesia’s Periklindo. Furthermore, AFEVA is pleased to announce that representatives from Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia will also be in attendance, further strengthening the network of cooperation and collaboration in the region.

These associations have played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and sharing best practices within the region, resulting in substantial advancements in electric mobility.
