The new Porsche Cayenne leads the “Porsche Dream Weekend” happening on October 20-22 at Power Plant Mall, Makati City. The event presents guests the opportunity to view up close a curation of Porsche models, and is part of celebrations for Porsche Philippines’ 27th anniversary.
Porsche Philippines has consistently set the benchmark in the country’s luxury auto sector for nearly three decades. It recently marked the milestone by introducing the new Cayenne.
The Cayenne has been a mainstay of Porsche Philippines’ offerings since the flagship SUV’s introduction in 2002. Like the rest of Porsche’s lineup in the country, the Cayenne is supported by the expertise of a highly professional sales and aftersales team trained by Porsche Germany, as well as factory equipment and facilities.
In its upgraded third-generation version, the Cayenne receives the most extensive product upgrade in Porsche’s history. Porsche Philippines currently offers five models of the flagship SUV — Cayenne and the Cayenne S that come in SUV and Coupe body styles, and the Cayenne Turbo GT.
The Cayenne has a more powerful gasoline V6 engine, with horsepower output rising to 353 hp and torque to 500 Nm. These are 13 hp and 50 Nm more compared to the previous model.
The Cayenne S comes with a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 gasoline engine producing 474 hp and a massive 600 Nm of torque. In the new Cayenne Turbo GT, the twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine outputs an even more staggering 659 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The new Cayenne Turbo GT has a Coupe body.
Among the other new features of the latest Cayenne models is the Porsche Driver Experience. First seen in the 100% electric Porsche Taycan, it places frequently used controls on or beside the steering wheel, including the gear selector that is now on the dashboard. The redesigned cockpit also integrates a curved, 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch central Porsche Communication Management display.
All the new Cayenne models have completely redesigned front and rear ends, characterized by a new hood, grille, bumpers and rear apron. The Cayenne and Cayenne S are now equipped with LED matrix headlights while the Cayenne Turbo GT receives HD matrix headlights. Found at the rear is a new three-dimension strip taillight.
