Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) presented its prestigious Dealer of the Year (DOTY) Award to Hyundai Commonwealth (HCA). This took place at the first day of the week-long ESJAY Auto Group’s (EAG) Car Expo back in July 2023 – a tribute to its 50th Anniversary, which became a double celebration for the renowned San Juan family.
Key figures from HMPH, Mr. Dong Wook Lee, President, and Mr. Cecil Capacete, Managing Director, attended the said multi-brand exhibition in SM Fairview. They made the surprise announcement and personally congratulated EAG’s, Mr. Amando San Juan, Chairman, Ms. Carmen San Jan, Treasurer, and of course, Atty. Anna Lynne San Juan-Ponferrada, President of Commonwealth Operations.
Established in 2004, Hyundai Commonwealth has been a steadfast partner of the brand for almost two decades. The outlet has been exceling ever since in various areas from sales to service. In 2015, it made history by being among the first to adopt Hyundai’s Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI). The trademark elements applied to the facility ushered the new customer-centric approach of Hyundai towards the car buying process in a showroom.
Upon accepting the official plaque, Atty. With HMPH celebrating its first anniversary last year, this makes Hyundai Commonwealth its first-ever Dealer of The Year.
