BYD Greenfield to Showcase Premium Electric Vehicle Lineup at  Power Plant Mall from April 5-7

BYD will take center stage at the North Court Area of the Rockwell Power Plant Mall from April 5 to 7, 2024, for a weekend display and test drive activity with two of its premium full-electric offerings: the BYD Han electric sports sedan, and the BYD Tang three-row electric SUV.

Throughout the weekend, both luxury electric vehicles will be available to the public to see, touch, drive, and experience, along with test drives for the BYD Atto 3 subcompact crossover and the BYD Dolphin.

Organized by BYD Greenfield, one of the dealers under Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI), the dealership arm of ACMobility, the mall display brings BYD’s highly sought-after full-electric vehicle nameplates closer to the public.

“BYD’s presence at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall, one of Metro Manila’s premier shopping destinations, is a testament to the commanding presence and superior build quality of its electric vehicles,” shares Bob Palanca, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of IDI.

“As the first all-electric vehicle brand to be welcomed inside this prestigious mall, BYD now shares this exclusive space with other luxury automotive marques that exude quality, craftsmanship, and technological excellence. We invite the public to visit the BYD display at the Power Plant Mall this weekend to learn and experience the benefits of electric vehicle ownership firsthand,” adds Palanca.

Championing EV distinction

The BYD Han and the BYD Tang exude luxury, quality, performance, and safety as part of the BYD Dynasty Series.

From the dramatic crystal streamer headlights, futuristic rear lights, and sporty and aerodynamic design, the BYD Han will turn heads wherever you drive it.

Designed to cut through the wind with its 0.23 drag coefficient, the sleek BYD Han is as efficient as it is dynamic. With its striking form from every angle, the BYD Han’s bold exterior is complemented by a luxurious, award-winning interior design.

Each interior component exhibits a masterful design surrounded by Nappa leather, European wood, and space-grade aluminum switches. A large 15.6-inch multimedia touchscreen provides instant access to the vehicle’s primary function, while a rear 7-inch touchscreen display allows rear passengers to control air conditioning functions.

With its groundbreaking BYD Intelligent Damping Body Control System (DiSus-C), the BYD Han elevates riding comfort by minimizing vertical, lateral, and longitudinal motions. This results in a smoother, more confident, and reassuring drive.

Powered by Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors front and rear, the BYD Han uses Intelligent Electric All-Wheel Drive to deliver 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.9 seconds. With a range of up to 521 kilometers (WLTP), the 516 PS peak power and 700Nm of torque produced by the BYD Han are as impressive as they are efficient.

Power, style, and prestige, the EV way

With a seating capacity of seven, the BYD Tang’s all-electric powertrain raises the standards of elegance and class among flagship SUVs. Providing a distinct harmony between style, power, and efficiency, the BYD Tang sets itself apart with a luxurious refinement only found in more premium SUVs.

Featuring a plush knitted leather interior, the BYD Tang comforts its passengers with premium materials and superb fit and finish. Like the Han, the Tang features a panoramic power sunroof that opens up space inside the cabin.

Complete with a line of luxury amenities such as front-row seats with ventilation and massage functions, three temperature zone air conditioning system with independent middle and rear controls, a 12-speaker Dynaudio premium sound system, heat and sound insulated windows, intelligent voice control, wireless charging, and a PM2.5 air purification system, the BYD Tang creates a rewarding experience for both driver and passengers.

And to further secure its position as a flagship electric SUV, the 560 516 PS and 700 Nm BYD Tang accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Like the Han, it benefits from the All-Wheel Drive traction delivered by its dual electric motors.

A full suite of DiPilot Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, which include a Windshield Head-Up Display, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go Function, Traffic Sign Recognition System, Front Collision Warning, Predictive Collision Warning system,  Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Collision Warning, Front Crossing Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Traffic Brake, Rear Collision Traffic Alert,  Lane Departure Assist System, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Change Assist System and Traffic Jam Assistant, highlight the strides in safety that BYD has infused in the Tang.

BYD’s proprietary Blade Battery Technology powers the BYD Han and Tang. Its lithium iron phosphate chemistry and its unique array construction makes it an ultra-safe battery with ultra-strong structure for durability as well as ultra-long range and lifespan.

Customers are encouraged to visit the Rockwell Power Plant Mall from April 5 to 7, from 11 A.M. to 9 P.M. to experience BYD’s flagship electric vehicles.
