‘The Beard’ whistled for traveling in China?

Houston Rockets guard James Harden was pulled over by a traffic enforcer for allegedly breaking a traffic rule while cruising along a street in Shanghai, China.

He’s in the country for a promotional tour.

The South China Morning Post reported that the National Basketball Association superstar was aboard a battery-powered scooter when he was stopped by a traffic enforcer.

“The Beard” was traveling from his Shangri-La Hotel to Cao Yang Road, a 4.4-km trip, on Saturday afternoon when he was pulled over at an intersection, according to a report.

It’s still unclear what Harden’s violation was or whether he was given a traffic citation.

Harden recently visited the Philippines for a sports clothing promotional event.
