In recognition of their top-notch customer service, three Petron service stations were among the 10 stations awarded by the Department of Energy (DOE) and motorcycle ride-hailing app, Angkas.
The homegrown oil giant has pledged its support for the partnership between the DOE and Angkas that aims to provide real-time monitoring of pump prices, as well as recognize exemplary retail outlets.
All Petron stations in Metro Manila were assigned with a QR code for Angkas riders to scan allowing them to report the latest fuel prices to consumers. Angkas riders can also rate retail outlets based on four major criteria: cleanliness of forecourt, cleanliness of comfort rooms, good station personnel service, and presence/availability of air and water facilities.
The three Petron stations were: Equity Petron Service Station (1601 Taft Ave. Cor. Pedro Gil, Malate Manila); L.A Petron Service Center (811 Quezon Avenue, Roxas District, Sta. Cruz, Quezon City); and Local Boiler Fuel Services Inc. (Kamagong cor. Metropolitan Ave., San Antonio, Makati City).
The winning stations’ dealers were awarded by DOE Usec. Jesus Cristino Posadas in a virtual ceremony held last December 7.
This recognition is a testament to Petron’s strong compliance to standards set by the DOE and its commitment to always provide top-quality products and customer service.
