New electric SUV brings up to 642 km of range, 400 kW charging capability and unmistakable Cayenne performance to the Philippines
Porsche Philippines has introduced the all-new Cayenne Electric, opening a new chapter for one of the brand’s most important model lines while expanding its range of fully electric vehicles in the country.
The launch comes as Porsche celebrates 30 years in the Philippines, marking three decades of bringing the brand’s performance, engineering and innovation to customers in the country.
“The Cayenne has always represented Porsche’s ability to evolve while remaining true to what defines the brand,” said Roberto Coyiuto III, President and CEO of Porsche Philippines. “As we celebrate 30 years of Porsche in the Philippines, the arrival of the Cayenne Electric is especially meaningful. It brings together Porsche Intelligent Performance, everyday versatility and a new generation of electric technology, while preserving the driving experience our customers expect from a Porsche. There is no substitute.”

Since its introduction in 2002, the Cayenne has played an important role in Porsche’s growth. More than 1.5 million units have been delivered worldwide, establishing the model as one of the pillars of the Porsche range. Nearly 25 years later, the Cayenne Electric continues that pioneering role with an all-new electric architecture, significantly increased performance and a more spacious interior.
For the Philippine market, the Cayenne Electric is equipped with a Porsche E-Performance powertrain featuring electric motors on the front and rear axles, giving it all-wheel drive as standard. The system produces up to 442 hp (325 kW) and 835 Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
Energy is supplied by a 113 kWh gross-capacity Performance Battery, providing a WLTP driving range of up to 642 kilometers. Its high-voltage architecture supports charging power of up to 400 kW, allowing the battery to recharge rapidly at a compatible DC fast charger, an 11 kW onboard AC charger is also fitted.

The Cayenne Electric has also grown in ways that benefit everyday use. Its wheelbase now measures 3,023 millimeters, creating additional space for passengers. Rear legroom increases to 511 millimeters, while additional headroom has been created at both the front and rear despite the high-voltage battery being integrated into the underbody.
An electric rear-seat system allows the rear seats to slide by up to 150 millimeters, while the backrest can be adjusted by as much as 18 degrees. This enables occupants to prioritize rear passenger comfort or luggage capacity depending on the journey.
Driving dynamics remain central to the Cayenne. Philippine specifications include adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. Depending on the derivative and configuration, technologies such as rear-axle steering and Porsche Active Ride further expand the Cayenne Electric’s ability to combine comfort with precise handling.
Inside, the new model introduces the most advanced digital environment yet offered in a Cayenne. At its centre is the new Flow Display, the largest digital display landscape fitted in a Porsche. A 14.9-inch Passenger Display is also available, complementing the driver-focused cockpit with additional entertainment and information functions.
Standard equipment for the locally specified Cayenne Electric includes 14-way electrically adjustable comfort seats with memory, electric rear seats, front seat heating, ParkAssist with Surround View, automatic parking, Lane Change Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Driver Awareness Detection and an automatic tailgate with gesture control. The local specification also includes extended ambient and communication lighting and a thermally insulated windscreen.
Despite the move to electric drive, its exterior remains immediately recognizable as a Cayenne. Familiar proportions are combined with a more progressive treatment and aerodynamics developed specifically for its electric powertrain, while retaining the strong visual identity that has defined the model for more than two decades.
The Cayenne Electric joins Porsche’s existing Cayenne combustion-engine and hybrid offerings, giving customers a broader choice of powertrains rather than replacing them.
For Porsche, the formula remains unchanged even as the technology evolves: it looks like a Porsche, it drives like a Porsche, and it feels like a Porsche.
