Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, officially introduced the all-new Kia PV5 Cargo at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Engineered as a purpose-built EV solution for commercial logistics, the PV5 Cargo van combines heavy-duty capacity, long-range battery efficiency, and award-winning design into a complete operational package for local enterprises.
“Building on the promise we made to Filipinos early this year, this moment marks the next major step in Kia’s brand transformation in the Philippines,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “We are delivering a purpose-built electric vehicle engineered to be a true mobility partner, making your fleet cleaner, smarter, and more efficient”
Built for Business: Space, Payload, and Fleet Versatility

The new Kia PV5 Cargo, recognized globally as the 2026 International Van of the Year, combines a clean, modern design with commercial-vehicle capability. It features sleek, integrated LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED rear-combination taillights, plus 16-inch steel wheels with wheel caps. The PV5 Cargo is built on Kia’s dedicated EV platform, giving it compact dimensions measuring 4,695 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, and 1,905mm high. Combined with a 2,995 mm wheelbase, this allows for easy navigation through tight urban streets and narrow loading docks.
Inside, the PV5 Cargo carries up to 805 kg across a 4,420-liter cargo bay measuring 2,255 mm long, 1,565 mm wide, and 1,520 mm high. Dual-swing rear doors and a low loading height streamline worksite operations, while eight heavy-duty tie-down hooks and universal L-track mounting points ensure cargo is safely secured.
Engineered for Operations: Performance, Range, and Mobile Power
The Kia PV5 Cargo is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor which delivers 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Energy is supplied by a 51.5 kWh NMC battery, which provides a single-charge range of up to 384 kilometers (NEDC), to service the daily distribution requirement within Metro Manila and its surrounding provinces. The PV5 Cargo is designed for efficient operations, featuring rapid DC fast charging (CCS2 port) that replenishes the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes via a 350 kW charger. For regular overnight or office-based recharges, standard AC charging (Type 2 port) powers the battery from 10% to 80% in 4 hours and 45 minutes using an 11 kW wallbox.

Expanding beyond transit, the PV5 doubles as an on-site power station through its integrated Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology. By drawing energy from its high-voltage battery, the van can export up to 3.6 kW of electric power to run tools, lights, and equipment directly at remote work sites.
Driver safety and Fleet protection powered by Kia DriveWise

The Kia PV5 Cargo supports drivers during commercial activities with the intelligent features of the Kia DriveWise safety suite. Advanced driver-assist technologies include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Smart Cruise Control (SCC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Lane Following Assist (LFA). Driver Attention Warning and Auto Light Control further enhance road safety, while Forward and Reverse Parking Distance Warning paired with a Rear-View Monitor make maneuvering tight worksites easier.
Passive and structural safety features round out the vehicle’s comprehensive fleet protection. Front, side, and curtain airbags safeguard occupants, while Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and Downhill Brake Control (BDC) maintain vehicle control across challenging terrain.
Mobile Office: Connectivity and Fleet Productivity

Engineered for commercial operations, the Kia PV5 Cargo serves as an integrated mobile workstation built with heavy-duty interior materials. Digital workspace management centers on a 12.9-inch touchscreen display paired with a 7.5-inch driver cluster, providing a clear operational interface. Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow drivers to keep track of the best routes directly on the main screen. To support uninterrupted field operations, integrated 12V power outlets and dual high-output USB-C ports keep mobile devices charged throughout the workday.

Every Kia PV5 purchase is fully integrated into ACMobility’s commercial ecosystem, providing access to dedicated B2B fleet solutions such as ChargeFleet management, Greenstrum infrastructure support, Power-on-Wheels mobile support, and access to reliable charging via the nationwide Evro app network.
