Audi Philippines brings its latest hybrid SUVs on a media drive, highlighting the Q5’s advanced technology, refined performance and long-distance efficiency
The road to electrification doesn’t always require a charging cable. With the all-new Audi Q5 and Q3 Hybrids, Audi Philippines is bringing the benefits of hybrid technology into everyday driving, combining the convenience of a gasoline engine with greater efficiency and the refinement expected of the four rings.
The latest SUVs recently took to the road for an Audi Philippines media drive, traveling from Audi Greenhills to Rico’s Café at Lakehall in Sta. Elena, Laguna. The route combined city traffic with stretches of the South Luzon Expressway, providing a fitting setting to experience the newest additions to Audi’s premium SUV lineup.

At the forefront was the all-new Audi Q5 Hybrid, a familiar nameplate that enters its third generation with a fresh design, a more sophisticated interior and significant developments beneath the hood.
Built on Audi’s Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture, the new Q5 Hybrid features a 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid. The Q5 Premium produces 237 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, with power delivered through a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.
The hybrid system is designed to support the engine during everyday driving, helping improve fuel efficiency while maintaining smooth and responsive performance. Unlike a plug-in hybrid, the Q5 requires no external charging, making the transition to hybrid technology especially convenient for those accustomed to conventional gasoline-powered vehicles.
Another practical advantage is its driving range. Audi quotes more than 900 kilometers on a full tank, giving the Q5 the capability to handle daily commutes and longer out-of-town journeys with fewer fuel stops.
Beyond the powertrain, the Q5 brings the kind of refinement that has long been associated with Audi. Its updated chassis and suspension are engineered to balance comfort with confident handling, while the cabin’s sound insulation helps create a quieter environment for passengers. Together with the hybrid-assisted engine, these qualities make the Q5 particularly well suited to both city driving and long-distance travel.

The changes are just as noticeable inside. Dominating the dashboard is the Audi Digital Stage, which combines an 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit with a 14.5-inch MMI touch display. The curved, driver-oriented screens bring together navigation, entertainment and essential vehicle information, complemented by a clean interior design and carefully selected materials.
The Q5 also comes with an extensive range of driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, Audi side assist and a 360-degree camera system. These technologies add convenience to everyday driving, particularly when navigating busy roads, changing lanes or maneuvering into tight parking spaces.
Also featured on the drive was the all-new Audi Q3 Hybrid, bringing Audi’s latest design language and digital technology to its compact SUV lineup.
The Q3 Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid engine, producing 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Paired with a seven-speed S tronic transmission, it offers efficient performance in a practical, city-friendly package. Its redesigned cabin also features the Audi Digital Stage, bringing a contemporary look and intuitive controls to the driving experience.
Beyond the driving experience, Audi Philippines is making the move to its latest hybrid SUVs more attractive through its Trade In, Trade Up program, available for both the all-new Q5 and Q3 Hybrids. The program allows customers to trade in their existing vehicles, regardless of brand, and upgrade to either of Audi’s newest SUVs.
For the all-new Q5 Hybrid, the offer is complemented by a 5-5-5 ownership package comprising up to five years of zero-interest financing, a five-year warranty and a five-year service package, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The added ownership benefits make the Q5 an appealing proposition for those looking to combine advanced hybrid technology with long-term convenience and value.
With the all-new Q5 and Q3 Hybrids now on Philippine roads, Audi continues to bring hybrid technology into its premium SUV lineup. For the Q5 in particular, the attraction goes beyond its updated styling and impressive specifications. It is an SUV designed to make the everyday drive more comfortable, efficient and enjoyable, without asking drivers to change the way they travel.
