Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation has a new President & CEO

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has marked a significant milestone in its corporate journey in a ceremony at the Shangrila The Fort. The event commemorated the transition of leadership from outgoing President & CEO, Takeshi Hara, to the incoming President & CEO, Ritsu Imaeda, on April 22, 2024.

Takeshi Hara, who led MMPC for the past three years, took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering support and dedication throughout his tenure. 

Reflecting on his time at the helm, Hara underscored the importance of upholding Mitsubishi’s core principles of corporate responsibility, integrity, and global understanding. Despite grappling with challenges such as the global pandemic and economic uncertainties, Hara credited the collective efforts of the MMPC team and valued partners for achieving remarkable milestones.

Under Hara’s leadership, MMPC introduced transformative campaigns like “Life Made Better” and “Taralets Pinas,” showcasing the company’s commitment to delivering top-notch vehicles while significantly contributing to societal welfare. With a sense of pride and confidence, Hara handed over the reins to his successor, Ritsu Imaeda, urging continued support for the new leadership.

Ritsu Imaeda, whose illustrious career has seen him navigate various overseas markets including Europe, Russia, and Puerto Rico, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to his assignment in the Philippines, Imaeda served as the President & CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Sales Caribbean Inc. in Puerto Rico, mirroring Hara’s previous position.

In his inaugural address, Imaeda outlined his vision for MMPC’s future, emphasizing the Philippines’ significance as one of Mitsubishi Motors’ key markets. Drawing upon his extensive experience, Imaeda expressed optimism about the country’s growth potential and the company’s prospects in the region. He commended the Filipino people for their warm hospitality and enthusiastic embrace of Mitsubishi’s products and services.

Imaeda also unveiled upcoming initiatives, including the launch of new models like the Mitsubishi Xforce, signaling MMPC’s unwavering commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. He called for unity and collaboration among the entire Mitsubishi team and stakeholders to further elevate the company’s presence in the Philippines.

The ceremony concluded with heartfelt expressions of gratitude from both outgoing and incoming presidents, reaffirming their shared dedication to Mitsubishi’s mission of making lives better. Attendees were encouraged to continue supporting MMPC as it embarks on a new chapter under Ritsu Imaeda’s leadership.
