As a way of showing its support amid the ongoing relief operations for Taal Volcano evacuees, the Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) announced that they will allow free passage to private vehicles carrying relief goods at the Cavitex and Cavitex-C5 Link flyover.
According to the CIC, a private individual or group planning to avail the free passage must send a request first by sending an email at [email protected].
The request should indicate the following:
* Name of the organization
* Address
* Target date of passage
* Plate number, vehicle color
* Destination – Point of origin
* Exit point
Meanwhile, CIC said that private groups may freely pass through the toll area if they are part of a convoy of a legitimate rescue group such as the Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine Red Cross.
CIC reminded motorists that vehicles carrying relief goods may only pass through the toll company’s cash lanes.
