Ford Philippines is charging ahead in its electrification journey with the addition of the limited-edition Ford Mustang Mach-E Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant in its electric vehicle (EV) line-up, complementing the Mustang Mach-E All-Wheel Drive (AWD) launched last year.
The Mustang Mach-E RWD is available at a starting retail price of P2,599,000 as Ford is extending a P500,000 cash discount from its standard retail price of P3,199,000 and an additional P100,000 cash discount for the Grabber Yellow color.
The Mach-E RWD variant offers Filipino customers a sophisticated blend of the iconic Mustang DNA, exceptional efficiency, and an optimized driving range, making it the ideal choice for those seeking a premium, long-distance electric SUV.

The Mustang Mach-E RWD is designed for drivers who prioritize range and a classic driving feel. Powered by a single permanent magnet motor on the rear axle, the RWD variant produces 276ps and 525Nm of torque and delivers a smooth, responsive, and engaging experience.
While the Mustang Mach-E AWD focuses on maximum grip and blistering acceleration through its dual-motor setup, the RWD variant excels in efficiency and range. By utilizing a single motor, the RWD model improves energy consumption, providing a longer estimated driving range of as much as 615 kilometers on a single charge—perfect for city commutes and long weekend drives.
Tailoring the Experience with Drive Modes
Three selectable drive modes let drivers tailor the experience to conditions and preferences. Whisper mode softens steering and throttle response for a smoother and more composed ride. Engage mode balances comfort and performance for everyday use while Unbridle mode sharpens handling and acceleration for a more dynamic drive. Individual changes between each drive mode are subtle, but the overall effect can transform the driving experience in Mustang Mach-E, exactly when the driver wants to.
One-Pedal Drive
The 1-Pedal Drive system allows the driver to accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator pedal. Lifting off the pedal activates regenerative braking, which slows the vehicle and recovers energy for the battery. This feature reduces brake use, improves efficiency, and enhances control, especially in stop-and-go traffic.
Bold Design with Mustang Heritage
The Mustang Mach-E RWD, like the AWD variant, retains the fastback silhouette and tri-bar tail lamps that define the Mustang’s identity. A frameless grille with active shutters works with LED projector headlamps featuring automatic leveling, sequential turn signals, and signature lighting. Nineteen-inch machine-finished aluminum wheels give the Mach-E a confident, performance-oriented look, while the drainable front trunk adds versatile cargo space for everyday use.
The E-Latch door system replaces conventional handles for a cleaner look and better aerodynamics. When the vehicle detects the driver, pressing the B-pillar button releases the door, which opens slightly for easy access via a small aerodynamic hook. Rear passengers use a soft-touch release on the door frame.
Delivering Comfort and Convenience
Inside, perforated ActiveX synthetic leather seats offer 10-way power adjustment for both driver and front passenger. Heated front seats, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, and rear air vents keep the cabin comfortable in all conditions.
A 10.2-inch low-profile digital instrument cluster displays essential information in a clear, uncluttered format. The 15.5-inch capacitive touchscreen runs SYNC 4A with enhanced voice recognition and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other conveniences include an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a wireless charging pad.
Load space behind the rear seats is 402 liters and behind the front seats (when the rear seats are folded down) of 1,420 liters of load space is complemented by a front trunk (‘frunk’) storage unit made possible by the absence of a combustion engine under the bonnet. Providing an additional 80 liters of storage space, the front trunk or ‘frunk’ provides a convenient space to store wet or muddy sports clothing, hiking boots or beach gear after an adventure.

Similarly, the Mustang Mach-E RWD comes equipped with Ford App. With Ford App, owners have the ability to manage their Mach-E right from their mobile devices. Features include Remote Start / Stop /Climate, EV Charging Status, Battery States of Charge, Charge Session Details, Start / Stop Charging, Target Charge, Departure Times, Preferred Charge Times, Charge History and AC Charge Rate.
The Mustang Mach-E RWD will be sold in Ford Alabang, Ford Balintawak, Ford Cebu, Ford EDSA, Ford Global City, Ford Libis and Ford Marikina.
