Power Tractire Inc.( PTTI) stretches its rubber portfolio with the addition of Giti tires into their local lineup. G-i-t-i (to not be confused with the other, similar sounding brand) is bringing with them 75 years of experience and cutting edge technology that will surely benefit our market. This isn’t Giti’s first rodeo in the country but they are hoping to gain more ground this time with PTTI.

Giti has 5 R&D centers around the world, 6 manufacturing plants, and 10 offices in different countries. They rank 9th in the world in terms of value and supply a lot of OEM brands in Europe and Asia. This includes BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi. For Asia, they also supply to New Energy Vehicle brands such as the BYD Group, Luxxeed, GWM, Lynk & Co, Jetour, and Chery to name a few. In fact, 1 in every 8 new cars in China are fitted with Giti tires. Trucks and buses are also accommodated with 375 models fitted with them globally.

Their technologies are also something to behold. The tires that will be available in the Philippines will feature innovations like bigger grooves for improved water dispersion, MagiSound tread pattern for less road noise in dry and wet conditions, and low rolling resistance compound for the NEV tires.

Giti also has a great reputation for high-performance tires. Sure, there’s the compound and tread pattern innovations, but they also helped a world record. They’re the tire supplier for BYD when the Yangwang U9 became the fastest EV in the world that clocked in 496.22 km/h.

Like many brands nowadays, Giti is also working towards a greener means of production. Aside from their Airless Tire that will be more reusable, they have another concept that uses 93% sustainable. It uses 53% renewable materials while 40% makes use of recycled ones. They’re also one of the 4 recipients of EcoVadis Platinum Award, reflecting the legitimacy of their green efforts and puts them in the Top 1% of all companies surveyed globally.
Meanwhile, PTTI has been in the business since 1996. They have 300 dealer partners across the country with over 200 employees and 30,000 sqm of total warehouse facilities ensuring supply capability.

PTTI is bringing in a diverse lineup of Giti tires into the country. They have the Giti Comfort T20, Giti Comfort F50, GitiSynergy, GitiControlP10, GitiSport-S2, and the GitiSport GTR3. These vary in sizes from as small as 12-inchers to ones for SUVs and sports cars.
