Foton is pioneering a fully-electric commercial lineup at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show

One of the proven reliable Chinese brands in the country is making a statement at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show. Foton is presenting not only its mass-market vehicles but also their vans and electrified truck lineup at the show.

Foton brought the outdoors into the airconditioned main show area. Their booth concept reflects the rugged environment their cars thrive in, showcasing the Tunland V9 4×4 along with 2 vans – the Traveller Sierra EV and the Toano.

The Tunland V9 is a full-sized diesel hybrid pickup. It puts out 161 Hp and 450 Nm of torque. It’s perfect for those who seek an imposing but plush pickup truck as the Tunland V9 has a multi-link suspension at the rear for softer ride comfort.

Meanwhile, the Foton Traveller Sierra EV is in a unique position in the country. It’s one of the very few battery-electric vans and boasts of 303 km of range despite having a 12-seater capacity. Last, the Toano van is there to serve your people-hauling needs while keeping fuel-efficiency in mind.

Foton also flaunts a different set of vehicles in the truck pavilion of MIAS 2026. If you see their banners saying “100% Full-Electric Vehicle” in the truck pavilion, you’re in the right area.

They will showcase their fully-electric commercial vehicles EST 6×4 Tractor Head EV that has 2,500 Nm of torque and has 200 km of range, Tornado 3.6 F-Van EV that can carry 3,600 kg and still have a range of 208 km, TransVan i7 EV with a range of 274 km, and Harabas TM300 EV that has 220 km of range. These vehicles show that Foton’s shift towards green mobility isn’t limited to private households, but commercial movers as well. There’s also minimal compromise as their payload capacity and capability are on par with the traditional vehicles they’re replacing.
