Jetour T2 sells out first batch, more coming after MIAS launch

Jetour Auto Philippines has given us a preview of the Jetour T2 SUV. Boasting an impressive array of features and safety technology, the T2 has already captured the attention of Filipino motorists, as evidenced by the sell-out of its first batch of vehicles.

Priced competitively at Php 2,498,000, the Jetour T2 marks the brand’s entry into the midsize SUV segment in the Philippines. With its rugged yet sophisticated design, the T2 promises to be an off-road capable ride that appeals to both adventure-seekers and urban dwellers alike.

Designed under the creative guidance of former Porsche designer Hakan Saracoglu, the T2 exudes confidence with its assertive boxy silhouette and angular details.

At the forefront of the T2’s design is its distinctive front fascia, characterized by a tough-looking bumper, box-shaped LED headlamps, and a wide grille adorned with the Jetour badge. The SUV’s muscular stance is further accentuated by beefy black fender flares and stepboards, emphasizing its off-road prowess.

The interior of the Jetour T2 is a tech-savvy haven, featuring a 15.6-inch tablet-style infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster for the driver’s convenience. With seating for up to five passengers, the T2 offers ample space and comfort, complemented by leather-wrapped seats and automatic air-conditioning.

Powering the Jetour T2 is a robust 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline engine, delivering an impressive 250 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque. Coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 4WD system managed by the brand’s XWD Intelligent Switch, the T2 ensures a dynamic driving experience with seven selectable drive modes.

In terms of safety, the T2 is equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), although the full specifications are yet to be disclosed. However, Jetour Auto Philippines offers peace of mind to buyers with a comprehensive warranty package, including a 1 million or six-year vehicle warranty and a 10-year engine warranty.

Alongside the Jetour T2, the brand also unwrapped the Jetour Dashing Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), featuring a hybrid dual-electric powertrain with an all-electric range of 100 km. Priced at Php 1,950,000, the Dashing PHEV offers a compelling option for eco-conscious consumers without compromising on performance.

Despite being newly introduced to the Philippine market, the Jetour T2 has already made a significant impact, with the initial batch of vehicles selling out in a flash. Jetour said more units set to arrive after the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) launch, signaling a promising future for Jetour Auto Philippines in the market.
