After the arrival of the new, top-spec R 1300 GS, BMW Motorrad aims to set the adventure motorcycle scene ablaze with its latest offerings, the 2024 F 800 GS, F 900 GS, and F 900 GS Adventure – now finally made in the Philippines after its global launch earlier this year.
Building upon their predecessors’ success, these middleweight adventure bikes promise enhanced performance, agility, and a slew of advanced features tailored to satisfy the cravings of adventure enthusiasts.
The BMW F 800 GS, F 900 GS, and F 900 GS Adventure boast significant upgrades, particularly in power and weight reduction, amplifying their appeal among adventure riders.

Powered by an 895cc parallel twin engine, the 2024 F 900 GS models exhibit a notable increase in power and torque compared to their predecessors, while shedding a considerable 30 pounds in weight, according to BMW. This power-to-weight enhancement is expected to elevate the riding experience, offering a blend of exhilaration and control that adventure riders crave.

The 2024 BMW F 800 GS enters the Philippine market with a price tag of P995,000, initially available in Racing Blue Metallic color scheme. Meanwhile, its larger siblings, the F 900 GS (GS Trophy colorway) and F 900 GS Adventure (White and Aluminum Matte), are priced at P1,135,000 and P1,295,000, respectively. These competitive price points position the trio as compelling options in the adventure motorcycle segment.

Key features across the lineup include an advanced 895cc counterbalanced parallel twin engine, boasting impressive power output and torque figures. Riders can expect a claimed 87 horsepower at 6,750 rpm from the F 800 GS, while the F 900 GS and GSA models deliver a potent 105 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, alongside 91 Nm of torque.

Moreover, riders are treated to a host of standard features such as riding modes, full LED lighting, a 6.5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, heated grips, hand protectors, and more. Optional packages, such as the Enduro Pro package for the F 900 GS, and the Dynamic ESA for the F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS, offer additional customization, allowing riders to tailor their bikes to their specific preferences and requirements.
These three midsize F-series GS motorcycles come standard with a 5-year or 500,000-kilometer comprehensive BMW Motorrad warranty.
