Recently held at the Areza Mall and Shopping Complex in Pagsanjan, Laguna, the event was part of the Aasenso Pagsanjan program which aims to create more jobs in the locality, foster progress for transport cooperatives, and offer commuters safer and more comfortable ride options.
On display were the latest body applications of the tough and versatile Hyundai HD series–HD45 GT, HD78 GT, and HD50S GT. Thenew HD45 GT MPV Shuttle will meetthe growing demand for private and government employee shuttles at the fraction of the price of a regular mini-bus. With overall cab length of 21 feet (ft) and measuring seven ft tall, it easily fits 26 passengers plus the driver.
Known to be highly customizable to suit numerous “recession-proof” industries, the HD78 GT was showcased in its two new body applications:the HD78 ELWB Motorcycle Carrier and the HD78 GT MWB Dump Truck. The HD78 ELWB Motorcycle Carrier isthe ideal hauler for those engaged in the motorcycle business. Boasting a deck length of to 19.5 ft and a payload capacity of 3.9 tons, the Extra Long Wheelbase (ELWB) variant can take in up to 24 motorcycles. While the HD78 GT MWB Dump Truck with load space of up to 7 cubic meters(cbm) makes it capable of serving the varied needs of communities and local governments.
Also in the power lineup was the future face of safer and more comfortable commuting: the HD50S GT Modern PUV Class 3 and Class 4. Both already sport the new design that all Hyundai Modern PUVs will be sharing–sleeker, safer, more aerodynamic, more fuel-efficient, with improved seating configuration and additional seat belts, and more spacious, measuring close-to 22 feet long and nine-and-a-half feet high. In addition, the HD50S GT Modern PUV Class 4, which is meant for inter-city travel, boasts comfortable front-facing seats with a 22+1 capacity and a 352-liter cargo compartment for luggage and cargo boxes.
