Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) continues to broaden its horizons with the recent inauguration of the new Hyundai pop-up store at Robinson’s North Tacloban last May 3, 2024. On the same day, a ceremonial site groundbreaking of the Hyundai Tacloban dealership also took place along National Highway, Palo, Leyte. Key executives of HMPH, Mr. Dongwook Lee, President, and Mr. Cecil Capacete, Managing Director were among those in attendance. This event also formally introduced the partnership with Topcars Autoworld Corporation, who will be leading the Hyundai Tacloban dealership. Its representatives Mr. Willard Chan, President, Mr. Ryan Lindbergh Chan, Managing Director, and Ms. Charlene Lesley Chan, Chief Finance Officer also graced both ceremonies.
Being the most populated city in Eastern Visayas, Tacloban serves as a prime location for Hyundai to further its reach and showcase its innovative mobility solutions. The city also offers a promising market for locals to discover Hyundai and its diverse range of vehicles. This is especially as Tacloban is one of the major transportation and distributing centers in Eastern Visayas.
