The originator of the earth-friendly Skyactiv technology goes green yet again as Mazda Philippines recently held its first-ever Invitational Golf Tournament at Mount Malarayat Golf & Country Club in Lipa City, Batangas. The inaugural event brought together dealer partners, collaborators, members of the Mazda community, and valued clients for a day of spirited driving from the tees to the greens.

More than a tournament, the event was thoughtfully designed as a shared experience—an opportunity to step away from the everyday grind and enjoy the soothing sights and sounds of the course, while strengthening relationships in a relaxed and welcoming setting that reflects the Mazda spirit.

“At Mazda, we’ve always believed that meaningful connections are at the heart of every journey. This tournament reflects that—bringing together our partners, clients, and community in a setting that encourages genuine interaction and shared experiences. It’s not just about the game, but about the people we journey with,” shared Steven Tan, President and CEO of Mazda Philippines.

Set against the lush landscape of Mount Malarayat, the day unfolded at an easy pace—conversations between swings, light moments across fairways, and time well spent among peers. While camaraderie took center stage, participants were also given the rare opportunity to elevate the excitement of the game, with a chance to win a hole-in-one prize: a brand-new 2026 Mazda3 Fastback—a fitting reward for a truly exceptional shot.
