Hyundai Motor Company has concluded its 2026 Hyundai Service Talent Academy training program, a five-day initiative that develops the next generation of global service professionals.
Held annually, the program invites outstanding talent from Hyundai Motor’s global academic-industry partner institutions for specialized training in Korea.
This year’s program brought together 18 outstanding students and 10 instructors from partner institutions across eight countries in Asia and Europe — Nepal, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Türkiye, Poland and Singapore.
Representing the Philippines were three students from Hyundai Motor Philippines’ (HMPH) partner institution for Hyundai Accelerate, Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI) Makati. Hyundai Accelerate is HMPH’s initiative that supports automotive students through providing training and career opportunities in select Hyundai dealerships. Mr. Ace Local, Mr. John Palisoc, and Mr. Joseph Bajar Jr., all Automotive Servicing students, were given the opportunity to deepen their technical expertise through hands-on learning sessions led by Hyundai service specialists at the company’s training facilities in South Korea.
The program combined advanced mobility training with tours of key Hyundai Motor Group sites, equipping participants with the required technical skills to support customers worldwide.
“Cultivating outstanding global service talent means building deeper customer trust in Hyundai Motor worldwide. We will continue supporting the growth of future service professionals through academic-industry partnerships.” – Beom Seok Kang, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Service Sub-Division, Hyundai Motor Company

Equipping Participants with Technical Expertise
Participants completed hands-on technical training at Hyundai Motor’s Cheonan Global Learning Center, gaining practical experience in:
- Electric vehicle and batter fundamentals
- Vehicle communication networks
- Charging systems
- E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) platform technology
- ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems)
The curriculum was designed around direct engagement with real components and equipment, helping participants build the maintenance skills required of future service professionals.
Immersive Value Chain Experience
The participants also explored key facilities across Hyundai Motor Group’s value chain. Visits included the Hyundai Steel Dangjin Plant, where they learned about steel production processes; the Hyundai Motor Asan Plant, where they observed vehicle manufacturing and assembly operations; and the Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, where they experienced Hyundai Motor’s brand philosophy and vehicle lineup firsthand. These visits gave participants a contextual understanding of how each stage — from steel manufacturing to production to service — contributes to vehicle quality and customer satisfaction.
Building Long-Term, Scalable Outcomes
Following the program, participating instructors will return to their respective institutions to develop and deliver Hyundai Motor-specialized curricula, sharing what they have learned with future students. Through this approach, Hyundai Motor expects its service talent development expertise to spread across global academic-industry networks and cultivate the next generation of service professionals.
Equipped with the knowledge and practical skills gained through the program, the 18 students will continue developing their careers in the automotive service sector in their home countries.
Hyundai Motor will continue to work with local educational institutions, overseas subsidiaries and dealer networks to create pathways for qualified graduates to pursue opportunities within Hyundai Motor’s global sales and service network.
