Crossover specialist Chery Auto Philippines (CAP), through Philippine distributor United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), is showcasing a significant step forward in technology and style in this year’s Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) with the launch of the delightfully perky subcompact crossover SUV, the new Tiggo 2 Pro.
The Tiggo 2 Pro flaunts a dynamic head-turning design that incorporates modern, fashion-forward elements. The boldy assertive front end’s sleek lines and overall aesthetics are crafted to appeal to a youthful audience, making it the ideal choice for those who prioritize the balance between performance and style.
Much more than just a heavily facelifted model, the new Tiggo 2 Pro is equipped with automatic projector headlights, Chery’s checkered-flag grille, 16″ dark alloy wheels, and full-width LED taillights.
Inside, it has a 10.25″ infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, HD reverse camera with dynamic auxiliary lines, and cruise control.
The new Tiggo 2 Pro has a new 1.5-liter DOHC engine which may either be paired to a 5-speed manual or a 9-speed CVT with two driving modes: Sport and Eco.
Other notable upgrades that make the new Tiggo 2 Pro a great and stylish companion for every drive are its laser-engraved interior design, all-around soft-touch panels, crisp buttons, card holder & bag hook, removable cup holders, multi-level gadget desk, rear console bag hook and compartment, and a full-flat expandable trunk space.
Chery also gave a sneak preview of the new Tiggo 5x Pro, a facelifted version of the Tiggo 5 Pro model in the current Chery vehicle lineup.

Adding to the excitement at this year’s PIMS, the Chery Tiggo Crossovers volleyball team will hold a meet and greet with fans on Saturday, October 26. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with their favorite volleyball stars and have a chance to win merchandise signed by their favorite players.
The new Tiggo 2 Pro is covered by Chery’s extensive warranty and support programs including a 5-year or 100,000-km bumper-to-bumper warranty, 3-year free roadside assistance, and 1-year or 20,000-km free PMS program. It’s available in white, red, or silver. Prices start at Php708,000.
