Lamborghini’s electrified models collect awards worldwide

Automobili Lamborghini’s new electrified models, produced under the Sant’Agata Bolognese supercar maker’s  “Direzione Cor Tauri” electrification roadmap, are now garnering global recognition.

The new Lamborghini Revuelto, Urus SE, and Temerario, all with hybrid electric powertrains, have earned top honors from some the world’s most prestigious groups for their design, performance, and driving experience.

The latest hybrid models represent the second phase of Direzione Cor Tauri in which Lamborghini intends to have a full lineup of electrified vehicles.

The company is pursuing this as it aims to reduce its carbon emissions this year by 50%.

Leading Lamborghini’s range of hybrid models is the company’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), the Revuelto.

Equipped with a V12 engine complemented by electric motors, the Revuelto secured six “Car of the Year” titles from international media and other organizations.

It was named “2025 Performance Car of the Year” by Road & Track, “Best Supercar” by Robb Report, and “Sports Car of the Year” by Esquire. Motor1.com also honored it with the “Cool Car Cup.”

Its styling was recognized with the “2024 Good Design Award” in the Transport category by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

The Revuelto was named “Supercar of the Year” at India’s Motoring World Awards and “Super Luxury Hybrid Coupé of 2024” by Singapore’s OneShift.com. It was also included in The Edge’s prestigious “Year in Cars – 2024” list.

The Urus SE, powered by a V8 engine with a hybrid system, continued Lamborghini’s dominance in the Super SUV category.

Among other awards, German publication Auto Motor und Sport named it “Best Car 2024” in the luxury SUV class, while Sport Auto awarded it first place in the high-performance category.

The Temerario, Lamborghini’s second HPEV and which has yet to reach markets, was named one of the “Cars We Can’t Wait to Drive in 2025” by both TopGear and CarBuzz. Maqina Magazine’s Arab Car of the Year 2024 awards honored it as the “Best Hybrid Sports Car.”

The awards collected by the electrified models reflect Lamborghini’s record results in 2024 as the company delivered 10,687 vehicles worldwide – a 6% increase over the previous year and Lamborghini’s best annual sales performance.
