Hyundai Truck & Bus Philippines partners with Lalamove Philippines for future-ready delivery solutions

Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai Truck & Bus Philippines (HTB), has entered a strategic partnership with Lalamove Philippines, one of the country’s leading on-demand delivery platforms, to enhance last-mile logistics through efficient, reliable, and sustainable transport solutions.

The partnership was formalized through a memorandum signing attended by key representatives from both organizations. HARI was represented by Mr. Ladislao Z. Avila, Jr., Director, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Timothy Joshua S. Magisa, Assistant Vice President for the National Sales Division. Lalamove Philippines was represented by Mr. Djon Paolo T. Nacario, Managing Director, and Mr. Jefferson B. Balanga, Senior Manager for Driver Operations.

This collaboration marks a significant step in advancing modern mobility in the Philippines by combining Hyundai Truck & Bus Philippines’ commercial vehicle expertise with Lalamove’s extensive delivery network. The partnership aims to improve fleet efficiency, driver productivity, and overall operational sustainability while delivering smarter and more scalable logistics solutions.

At the core of the initiative is the deployment of HTB’s HD50s GT HARI Cab and Mighty EV, offering a balanced approach to logistics through internal combustion and electric mobility solutions. The HD50s GT HARI Cab provides a payload capacity of 2,300 KG with durability and flexibility for high-demand routes, while the Mighty EV delivers zero-emission capability for urban and short-distance deliveries with a payload capacity of 4,100 KG. Together, these models support a more efficient and sustainable last-mile delivery ecosystem.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to advancing smarter and more sustainable logistics solutions in the country,” said Ms. Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, Vice Chairman, President, and CEO of HARI. “By integrating Hyundai Truck & Bus solutions into last-mile operations, we are enabling greater efficiency, reliability, and scalability while advancing our vision of future-ready mobility.”

“We’re proud to partner with HARI to strengthen our driver ecosystem and expand our fleet nationwide,” said Mr. Djon Paolo Nacario, Managing Director of Lalamove Philippines. “By making high-capacity vehicles more accessible to our partner drivers, we’re enabling greater earning opportunities while supporting the growing demand of MSMES and local businesses for reliable deliveries across the country.”

With HARI’s strong commitment to advancing sustainable mobility solutions and Lalamove Philippines’ leadership in digital on-demand logistics, the partnership brings together two industry enablers to strengthen the country’s last-mile delivery ecosystem.

“We remain steadfast in our mission to empower businesses with vehicles that deliver both performance and long-term value, while contributing to a more resilient and environmentally responsible transport ecosystem,” Ms. Perez-Agudo concluded.

Fleet operators, business owners, and logistics partners are encouraged to visit authorized Hyundai Truck & Bus Philippines dealerships to learn more about solutions designed to support their evolving transport and delivery requirements.
