Jetour has gained recognition for its off-road-oriented vehicles like the T2 and T1. The brand also offers more conventional models like the X70 and the compact Ice Cream EV. Now, Jetour is introducing a more luxurious option with the all-new S08 i-DM. It comes with a familiar price tag of PHP 1,798,000, making it even more affordable than the T1 i-DM.
The S08 stands out with its Western-inspired styling. Its large grille features horizontal slats that give the front end a commanding appearance without overwhelming the overall design. The pronounced shoulders add character, while the rest of the body features smooth curves and clean lines for a more refined appearance.
Jetour says the S08 follows a Diamond-ratio height and Golden Ratio body design, which contribute to its proportions. Outside amenities include Stellar Panoramic Headlights, 20-inch Starlight alloy wheels, and a powered tailgate with hands-free operation.
Inside, the S08 introduces a different approach to Jetour’s cabin design. The dashboard features wood veneer accents, while the center console has a minimalist layout with concealed ports and easily accessible buttons. The steering wheel also has a cleaner design. Buyers can choose between dark and cream-colored interior themes.
The dashboard is dominated by a 15.6-inch touchscreen with a “Sunflower” display function, allowing the screen to tilt toward either front occupant when activated. Other amenities include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker sound system, a 50W wireless charger, and a refrigerator beneath the front center armrest. Rear passengers also benefit from second-row air vents and generous seating space, while crystal-style seat adjustment buttons add a premium touch.
The S08 also offers several comfort features for its occupants. Both front seats come with heating, ventilation, and memory functions. The driver’s seat has 6-way power adjustment, while the front passenger gets 4-way power adjustment. The second and third rows also feature powered adjustments, along with one-touch access to the third row. Additional features include luxury pillows, 32 possible cabin configurations, and 4 Queen Bed modes that allow occupants to rearrange the interior for relaxation.
Under the hood, the S08 i-DM combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with Jetour’s Intelligent Dual Electric Motor System. The plug-in hybrid powertrain produces a combined 347 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque. It uses an 18.4 kWh battery that provides up to 85 kilometers of pure electric driving range, while the combined driving range is approximately 1,000 kilometers.
For safety, the S08 comes equipped with Electronic Child Locks, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, a 360-degree Camera System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.
The Jetour S08 i-DM is available at an introductory price of PHP 1,698,000 until November 30, 2026. It comes with a 6-year or 1-million-kilometer vehicle warranty, a 10-year or 1-million-kilometer engine warranty, and an 8-year or 150,000-kilometer high-voltage battery warranty. Available colors include Azure Grey, Midnight Black, Morning Mist White, and Stream Silver.
