UAAGI Auto Group officially announces the conclusion of its tenure as the distributor of Lynk & Co in the Philippines, following the expiration of its distributorship on September 1, 2026.
This transition follows the global strategic direction of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd. (ZGH), the international conglomerate overseeing Lynk & Co and other Geely Auto brands. ZGH is currently implementing the “One Geely” system which is a global initiative designed to consolidate its diverse brand portfolio into a unified, streamlined operational structure.
In line with this global direction, the distributorship of Lynk & Co in the Philippines will transition from UAAGI Auto Group to Geely Motor Philippines Corp. (GMP), ensuring continued support for customers under the new distributorship.
Supporting Owners Through the Transition
As part of the planned handover, GMP is targeting September 1, 2026 as the transition date for aftersales operations. Beginning on this date, GMP will oversee the supply of genuine parts and honor all existing vehicle warranties through its Geely dealership network.
Meanwhile, UAAGI Auto Group assures all Lynk & Co owners that their ownership experience will remain a priority throughout the transition. Customer inquiries received by UAAGI will be coordinated and endorsed to the GMP Aftersales team to ensure timely assistance and seamless experience. UAAGI may also assist with the aftersales operations, where necessary, to help ensure uninterrupted support during the handover period.
