BYD keeps making headlines in the Philippines this year. If it’s not a new car, it’s most likely a dealership like what we have today. BYD Cars Philippines has officially opened its doors in Pampanga situated at Villa Del Sol, Jose Abad Santos Ave, San Fernando Pampanga. It’s the first dealership in Luzon that is outside of Metro Manila.
The event was graced by Oscar Chng, Dealer Principal of BYD Pampanga; Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines, and Vilma Caluag, Mayor of San Fernando, Pampanga.

BYD Pampanga is set to be the biggest BYD showroom in the Philippines with its massive total land area of 5,400 sqm. Only half of it is operational during the inauguration but even that is already the size of their flagship showroom in BGC. Currently it can fit the whole BYD lineup in the showroom, has a dedicated releasing area, and at the back are 6 service bays with a separate reception and overlooking lounge for customers.
Once completed, BYD Pampanga will have 3 floors for its showroom and 2 floors for its service area. It will be able to accommodate paint and body repairs aside from Preventive Maintenance Service. The total service bays will also go up to 15 depending on the need.
They also have a raffle going on until February 28, 2025. Anyone who buys a car from BYD Pampanga will have a chance to win a brand new BYD Seagull. The Seagull is the brand’s most affordable EV, currently priced at P898,000. It has enough power for casual drives in and out of the city, and can go for 300 km on a single charge.
The Seagull will soon be yesterday’s news as BYD is set to launch a new car during the 12th EV Summit in SMX Convention Center. Apart from that, they’re opening more showrooms around south of Metro Manila for the remainder of the year, steadfast in their target of 25 showrooms for 2024.
