CATS founder
Felix Ang established Greenhills CATS (Car Accessories Tires and Servicenter),
the first and the biggest one-stop-car-shop in the country. On its first year, a military coup threatened
the business – yet the business survived and thrived.
1990
Start of partnership with Mercedes-Benz after being officially appointed as an authorized Mercedes-Benz Workshop
1993
CATS started to
sell Mercedes-Benz vehicles as an authorized dealer by then distributor,
Commercial Motors Corporation
1995 to 1998
CATS Motors, Inc. was established and became a leading dealer in sales. Despite the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, CATS was named the Dealer of the Year from 1996 to 1998!

The Greenhills facility was transformed into a fully compliant Mercedes-Benz showroom.

Mercedes-Benz Global
City was opened, the first Autohaus in South East Asia complying with global
standards

Auto Nation Group was established to manage the importation and distribution of Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM while CATS Motors, Inc. spun off into a dealership.
2015
Global Star
Motors Corporation was appointed as an independent dealer for Mercedes-Benz and
Chrysler in Cebu.
2016
Harley-Davidson of Manila was awarded as Asia Emerging Markets Dealer of the Year and it launched its second showroom in Bonifacio Global City.
2017
CATS Group
invested in British marques Jaguar and Land Rover under Coventry Motors
Corporation.
2018
All British Cars was appointed as the first and sole authorized retailer of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands with a state-of-the-art showroom along EDSA, Greenhills. Jeep Clark opened in Pampanga to cater to customers in Central Luzon.
2019
Start of
construction of the new Mercedes-Benz BGC in its new location as well as the
second showroom of Jaguar Land Rover in Metro Manila. Harley-Davidson of Pampanga opens. Another
Jeep dealership, Jeep San Fernando, is also slated to open.
