Ford has recently commemorated the 1-year anniversary of the Ford Territory Hybrid in the country. It moved 2,760 units in the first half of 2026 and a total of 4,405 units since it was launched last year. This made the Territory Hybrid become the new top seller of the brand, accounting for 37% of their sales.
It’s not surprising then that they are bringing out something more premium. The new Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum is the new top of the line trim of the brand’s best-seller. It has elevated design, amenities, and safety appointments making it enticing beyond the badge. What’s more, you’re getting all of that for only PHP 1,655,000 or just PHP 56,000 more than the Titanium.
The Platinum trim isn’t shy in making itself known. It has a lettering badge at the edge of the hood, a new design on its 19-inch alloy wheels, black side mirrors, and 2-tone color scheme. The rear also gets a more conventional Platinum badge under the right taillight, there’s still Powered Tailgate, but the rear bumper now has gloss metallic black accent to contrast the matte finish on the bumper fairings.
Open the front doors and you’ll be greeted with the illuminated scuff plate on the door frame. There’s also new upholstery in the form of quilted leather, with matching ventilation for the front seats that has “Platinum” stitched into the backrest.
For the unseen parts, the new Territory Platinum has an improved 10-speaker Arkamys Sound System that is paired with a 320W amplifier and a powerful subwoofer. It also has a 3D audio algorithm for 5.1 surround sound inside the cabin.
New for any Ford model in the Philippines is the “Digital Scent.” It lets you choose from 3 Preset Scents named Whispers of Dawn, Velvet Ember, and Verdant Rush. There are 3 additional “Premium” scents – Amber Veil, Azure Oud, and Soul Velocity that you can get from a Ford dealership.
The Advanced Driver Assist System also received a boost for this variant. They added Traffic Jam Assist and Integrated Cruise Assist, making the Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum safer and more ready to drive in our hectic street conditions.
The new Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum is available in new Moonbay Blue, Lustrous Grey, and Crystal Pearl White for an introductory price of PHP 1,655,000.
Also unveiled at the event is the brand’s new campaign. “Ready, Set, Ford” moves from their product-centered approach of the past and on to something that involves their customers. It’s made to spark confidence, and help people feel ready for anything.
