After unveiling a very enticing EV hatchback, GAC turned their eyes on another competitive segment. They are not just doubling, but tripling down on its luxe people-hauling offerings by offering a trio of MPVs. GAC says this is a purpose-built lineup that moves beyond category boundaries.
Apart from the choices in different price points, GAC also offers them in different powertrains for a more efficient means of mobility without compromising comfort and capability. Meet the new GN6, the E8 Hybrid, and the GN8 Plug-in Hybrid.
GN6 GX – Dignified value proposition

Move to a more comfortable 7-seater in the new GAC GN6. It boasts of bigger dimensions than the leading MPV in the market, while having an aesthetic that certainly looks apt by the red carpet. The new “Dragon Face” features a bold vertical grille with matrix LED lighting for a premium look.

It’s powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that puts out 177 PS and 270 Nm of torque, ensuring that you can haul your passengers and their belongings without a hitch. The 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission also ensures your engine has better efficiency in varying situations.

The promise of value goes beyond cosmetics too. The GN6 has Dual-Zone Climate Control, 6-way Power Adjustable Seats, Powered Sunroof, 14.6-inch touchscreen, and USB Type-C ports. Safety is also kitted well with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Front, Front Side, and Side Curtain Airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and a 360 camera system.
All of that and you’ll only have to shell out PHP 1,298,000 for the sole variant of the GAC GN6. You can also have it for only PHP 1,198,000 until August 31, 2026. It will be available in Pearl White and Classic Black colors.
E8 Hybrid – Plush for the outdoors

Those looking beyond simplicity can opt for the GAC E8 Hybrid. This MPV combines its hybrid powertrain with more premium features, and has a nice trick at the tailgate.

GAC has implemented what they call “Azure Wing” for the fascia flanked by “Guardian Eye” LED lighting system. It gives the E8 a more upmarket appeal than the already modern GN6. This is complemented by Powered Sliding Doors on both sides and a Powered Tailgate at the rear with Memory Function.

The E8 has 2 variants that both have a hybrid powertrain. It’s powered by a 2-liter engine that promises 17.85 km/l fuel efficiency. It is available with Dual-Zone Climate Control, Leather Seats, Second-row Captain Seats that have Ventilation and Massage Function, and Remote Controlled Sunroof. The third row can be pushed down on the cargo area for the “Tea Break” mode but I personally see it as a great mini-sofa for glamping and camping. GAC says there’s a total of 18 seat configurations for the E8.

Safety is good for both trims having Front, Side, and Side Curtain Airbags. Only the higher trim gets the Advanced Driver Assist features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist among others.
The GAC E8 is priced at PHP 1,858,000 for the GL and PHP 1,998,000 for the GX. Get them for PHP 80,000 less until August 31, 2026. They are available in Crystal White and Elegant Black colors.
GAC GN8 – The flagship gets more premium

GAC’s top of the line people hauler gets more premium appointments for 2026. The 2-liter engine is now paired with a plug-in hybrid system that produces a combined 373 horses and 630 Nm of torque. It also has an electric range of 120 km and can be charged from 30% to 80% in 45 minutes.

It now has Zero Breeze Air Conditioning. The second row Captain Seats now have 4-way Power Leg Rests, Position Memory, Heating, Ventilation, and Massage functions. There’s also Soundproof Glass for the first 2 rows, 16-speaker audio system with Dual Yamaha Headrest Speakers, Tri-Zone Climate Control, and Starlight Panoramic Sunroof. There’s a 14.6-inch touchscreen on the dash and another 15.6-inch screen for the rear occupants.

Safety is more bolstered as well. It has ADIGO Smart Drive which has more features than the ADAS found in the other 2 MPVs.
The GAC GN8 PHEV Executive is priced at PHP 3,488,000 and is PHP 150,000 less until August 31, 2026. It’s available in Black Shadow White, Temple Gold, and Elegant Black.
