Inchcape Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Changan in the country, is proud to provide the pioneering fleet of electric vehicles to EV Taxi Corp as the local taxi operator and superapp Grab partner in a push for sustainable mobility — an industry movement officially marked by the recent launch of GrabTaxi Electric.
Delivery of the Changan Eado EV 460: A Step Towards a Greener Future
Changan Philippines is proud to deliver the Changan Eado EV 460 in support of EV Taxi Corp’s sustainability goals and its partnership with Grab Philippines.

“At Inchcape Philippines, we see sustainable mobility not just as the future, but a responsibility today. Through Changan’s Eado EV 460, we’re delivering smart, efficient, and environmentally responsible mobility solutions. We’re proud to enable EV Taxi Corp in driving forward its mission to modernize transportation through cleaner energy, and we are honored to be part of a movement that brings us closer to a greener, more sustainable Philippines”, said Mr. Alex Yap, Country Head of Inchcape Philippines.
Local operator EV Taxi Corp, spearheaded by Mr. Frankie Ang, is a pioneer and leader in sustainable transportation in the Philippines. The company is committed to making eco-friendly commuting part of everyday life for Filipinos by offering electric vehicle (EV) taxi services that are clean, reliable, and affordable.
“The goal is to build a greener transportation system, create better livelihood opportunities for drivers, and show that sustainable travel is not just a vision for tomorrow, it’s a reality Filipinos can ride today. We have carefully selected Changan as our provider of electric vehicles for this project as we believe in the brand’s capabilities, strength and longevity, reflected by its strong global presence, 160 years of legacy, and continuously growing presence in the Philippine automotive industry,” said Mr. Frankie Ang, President of EV Taxi Corp.
EV Taxi Corp has partnered with the country’s leading superapp, Grab Philippines, to launch GrabTaxi Electric—the country’s first all-electric taxi fleet and the latest in-app mobility service offering clean, reliable, and affordable EV rides.

Powering this initiative is the Changan Eado EV 460, a five-seater pure electric sedan. The model features a sleek exterior design, illuminated with all-LED headlights. Its smooth character line flows from the upper edge of the headlamp through the taillights, highlighting the vehicle’s long wheelbase.
Inside, the Eado EV 460 offers spacious leg room, shoulder room, and headroom, providing a premium and comfortable riding experience for both the driver and passengers. The cabin features front and rear leather seats, complemented by a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat and a 4-way adjustable front passenger seat.
The Eado EV 460 is powered by a 47.78 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery with a Water-Cooling System, delivering an impressive range of 401 kilometers on a single charge, making it a reliable choice for urban transport and ride-hailing operations.
With safety as a core priority of Changan, the model is equipped with a comprehensive suite of standard driver and passenger safety features. The Eado EV 460 also proudly holds a 5-star rating from the China New Car Assessment Program (C-NCAP).
