To be honest, your online motoring portal has been up for a while already, but we made it official last Monday with a launch/lunch (I like how that sounds) event at the Versus Barcade in Uptown Parade, Bonifacio Global City.
The affair was also an occasion to introduce the rebranded motoring section of Business World — now called Velocity. Both Velocity and Wheels (The Philippine STAR) are helmed by Manny de los Reyes.
Manny will be in charge of the Wheels franchise of The STAR, which is now a multi-platform ecosystem of everything motoring/mobility — the very first and only one of its kind in the country. Yours truly will be the Wheels.ph editor, and I’m joined full-time by our resourceful, prolific staff writer, Christian Imperio.
