NORTH COTABATO—Four people were killed instantly while three others were badly injured in a highway accident in Matalam town Saturday.
The fatalities were passengers of a tricycle which was hit head-on by a wayward silver Toyota Innova on a stretch of the Cotabato-Davao Highway in Matalam.
Three other tricycle passengers were badly injured in the collision. The victims were immediately rushed by responding barangay officials and personnel of the Matalam municipal police to a hospital. – John Unson/STAR
