Ortigas Ave. Ext. to undergo rehabilitation from Aug. 23 to Dec. 8

As the Christmas season approaches, traffic situation in Pasig City is threatening to get worse as a major road is set to undergo rehabilitation for more than three months.

In an advisory, the Public Information Office of Pasig City announced that the public should expect heavy traffic along the stretch of Ortigas Avenue Extension as it will undergo rehabilitation work from August 23 to December 8.

The project, which involves the rehabilitation of its drainage system, curbs, gutters, as well as sidewalks, will ensue from 10 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes during the course of the rehabilitation project by the Department of Public Works and Highways.
