Some NLEX toll plazas impassable to all vehicles, RFID installation sites closed amid Typhoon Ulysses

The onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses has left some North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) toll plazas impassable to all types of vehicles on Thursday morning.

As of 10:10 a.m., NLEX Corp. said in an advisory that the following toll plazas are not passable to all types of vehicles

  • Bocaue Northbound (before the interchange up to Tambobong)
  • Marilao Northbound
  • Tambobong
  • Bocaue
  • Sta Rita Southbound entry
  • Tabang Southbound entry
  • Balagtas Southbound entry
  • Marilao Northbound

It added that Lane 1 of Bocaue Southbound is now passable to all classes while Segment 10 is only passable to Class 2 and 3 vehicles. Meanwhile, the rest of NLEX as well as the entire stretch of SCTEX are passable to all motorists.

NLEX said that northbound motorists are advised to make a U-turn before Bocaue Interchange while those heading southbound are instructed to make a U-turn before Petron Bocaue.

The toll corporation also said that all RFID installation sites are closed as of the moment due to the incessant rains spawned by Typhoon Ulysses.
