Porsche Panamera elevates performance-driven luxury

Porsche’s diverse lineup comes with combustion engines, electric motors, and hybrid combinations of these, providing customers an unmatched selection of both model and power plant options. Underscoring these is the Porsche Panamera, now offered in the Philippines in Panamera V6 and Panamera E-Hybrid models.

The four-door grand touring sedan designed to deliver the performance of a sports car and the luxurious comfort of a limousine provides a wide range of digital features, a fresh and expressive design, and a broader spectrum between dynamic performance and driving comfort.

All this hallmarks the Panamera V6. The model underscores its sports car capabilities with a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 353 hp and 500 Nm of torque. When matched to Porsche’s renowned 8-speed PDK transmission, the output enables the Panamera to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds and to reach a top speed of 272 km/h — all while maintaining the refinement of a luxury sedan.

A dual-chamber two-valve air suspension system with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) in the Porsche Panamera perfectly balances comfort and sportiness.

For its part, the Panamera E-Hybrid offers a longer electric driving range, faster charging speed, improved throttle response, and even more dynamic performance.

This PHEV model merges an updated hybrid system with a significantly revamped 2.9-liter V6 twin turbo gasoline engine. Combined, the electric motor and engine produces 470 hp and 650 Nm of torque.

The output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 280 km/h. When driven exclusively on electric power, the Panamera E-Hybrid can travel up to 96 kilometers (WLTP).

A completely upgraded electric motor can recuperate up to 88 kW, contributing to the Panamera E-Hybrid’s significantly increased electric driving range. Providing energy to the motor is a new 25.9 kWh high-voltage battery.

Further making the new Panamera E-Hybrid more efficient are its four optimized driving modes, as well as the improved Sport and Sport Plus modes.

In both the Panamera V6 and Panamera E-Hybrid, their characteristic handling and comfortable ride are ensured by a dual-chamber two-valve air suspension system featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The setup ensures smooth rides over varying road surfaces and keeps the Panamera stable during dynamic driving, perfectly balancing comfort and sportiness.

Beyond providing an impressive ride quality, the Panamera offers a suite of luxurious features designed to enhance both driver and passenger comfort.

Among the highlights in the Porsche Panamera’s highly digitalized cockpit is the Porsche Driver Experience integrating digital and analog controls.

The model’s cabin showcases premium materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Its features include 14-way power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, individual rear seats (also ventilated), the Sport Chrono package, electric sun blinds for backseat passengers, four-zone climate control, and a Bose Surround Sound system.

Another highlight in the Panamera’s highly digitalized cockpit is the Porsche Driver Experience that integrates digital and analog controls, placing various functions and displays on the driver’s line of sight. A curved, 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster sits at the top of the dashboard and offers up to seven different display views, including a “Classic” five-dial layout.

On the dashboard, integrated into a black panel is the high-resolution 12.3-inch central display that accesses functions of the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system.

Defining the Panamera’s exterior are sharpened styling elements that make it even more expressive and sporty. Up front, the Matrix LED headlamps are slightly more upright to match the crisper lines and more pronounced contours of the hood and fenders. Additional air intakes improve cooling efficiency.

The Panamera’s reshaped window line better communicates the Porsche flyline. At the back, the outer edges of the rear window now flow more harmoniously with the contour of the car’s body. The three-dimensional, continuous rear light creates an unmistakable look.

With the extensive enhancements, the Panamera V6 and Panamera E-Hybrid continue to strengthen Porsche’s model range to meet varying customer preferences through a selection of power plant options.
