Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official Philippine distributor of Hyundai Trucks and Buses, makes a bold entry into the electric commercial vehicle (E-CV) space.
On May 2, 2025, the Hyundai Truck and Bus Mobility EV-olution expo at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang, Muntinlupa City will bring together key stakeholders from government, business, and leading transport cooperatives—setting the stage for the future of smart, sustainable mobility in the Philippines.
Aptly timed for the country’s yearly celebration of Filipino workers, the expo serves as the launch pad for future-forward solutions for hard working transport entrepreneurs, fleet operators, and logistics providers.
Underscoring its commitment as the “Partner in Every Way” of local businesses, Hyundai Truck and Bus (HTB) Philippines introduces its initial lineup of E-CVs that are engineered for heightened efficiency, economy, safety, comfort, and eco-friendliness.

The Hyundai Mighty EV is a light-duty electric truck that boasts a remarkably quiet, efficient, comfortable, and zero-exhaust drive. With battery capacity of 114.5 kWh and range of up to 370km, and gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 7,300 kg, it is geared to take the lead in accelerating the urban logistics market’s shift toward a greener future.
The Hyundai County New Breeze EV presents a clean alternative to the traditional diesel-powered people haulers, thanks to its robust 128 kWh lithium-ion-polymer battery that provides a range of up to 303 km.
Also set to launch is the locally assembled HARI Cab. Its Euro 4 D4CC diesel engine that provides 160 ps at 3,000 rpm and torque of 40 kg-m at 1,250-2,800 rpm remains one of the most powerful in its class. What’s more, its 14-ft deck length offers greater payload capacity and flexibility for urban and commercial mobility needs.
Elevating Businesses with Smart Mobility and Electrification
The expo will also feature a transport forum where industry leaders and business owners will dialogue with guest experts on trends in modernizing transport systems, the shift to EV technology, and the role of smart mobility in growing a business.
HARI Vice President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo affirms that the Mobility EV-olution Expo is more than just a showcase—it is the foundation for the company’s Byahenyo Program, a movement designed to empower local entrepreneurs.
“We want our clients, particularly those engaged in public transport, to evolve with us. The Byahenyo is an empowered transport entrepreneur who embraces innovation to stay ahead of the curve and positively influences one’s family, community, and eventually, the country’s progress. By growing a community of Biyahenyos, we envision the rise of visionary leaders, or Byaheroes, whose success stories will further the transformation of our industry, for the better.”
With groundbreaking technology and a vision for smarter, more sustainable transport, HARI is driving the next phase of commercial mobility.
