Porsche Panamera elevates performance-driven luxury

The Porsche Panamera underscores its sports car capabilities with a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that can also be paired to an advanced plug-in hybrid system

Porsche’s diverse lineup provides customers a selection of power plants. Underscoring this is the Porsche Panamera, which comes in both V6 engine and hybrid options.

The latest version of the four-door grand touring sedan delivers the dynamics of a sports car and the luxurious comfort of a limousine. It provides a wide range of digital features, a fresh and expressive design, and a broader spectrum between performance and comfort.

This hallmarks the Panamera V6. The model is equipped with a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 353 hp and 500 Nm of torque.

A dual-chamber two-valve air suspension system with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) in the Porsche Panamera perfectly balances comfort and sportiness.

When matched to Porsche’s renowned 8-speed PDK transmission, the output enables the Panamera V6 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 272 km/h.

For its part, the latest Panamera E-Hybrid offers a longer electric driving range, faster charging speed, improved throttle response, and even more dynamic performance.

This PHEV model merges an updated hybrid system with a significantly revamped 2.9-liter V6 twin turbo gasoline engine. The electric motor and engine produce a combined output of 470 hp and 650 Nm of torque.

This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 280 km/h. When driven exclusively on electric power, the Panamera E-Hybrid can travel up to 96 kilometers (WLTP).

Both the Panamera V6 and Panamera E-Hybrid are fitted with a dual-chamber two-valve air suspension system featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The setup ensures smooth rides over varying road surfaces and keeps the vehicle stable at high speed.

Among the highlights in the Porsche Panamera’s highly digitalized cockpit is the Porsche Driver Experience integrating digital and analog controls.

Inside, the Panamera models offer a suite of luxurious equipment that enhance driver and passenger comfort.

Their cabin features include 14-way power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, individual rear seats (also ventilated), the Sport Chrono package, electric sun blinds for backseat passengers, four-zone climate control, and a Bose Surround Sound system.

Another highlight in the Panamera models’ highly digitalized cockpit is the Porsche Driver Experience that places various functions and displays on the driver’s line of sight. A curved 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster sits at the top of the dashboard and offers up to seven different display views, including a “Classic” five-dial layout.

On the dashboard, integrated into a black panel is the high-resolution 12.3-inch central display that accesses functions of the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system.

Defining the Panamera models’ exterior are Matrix LED headlamps that are now slightly more upright to match the more pronounced contours of the hood and fenders. Additional air intakes improve cooling efficiency.

The reshaped window line better communicates the Porsche flyline. At the back, the outer edges of the rear window now flow more harmoniously with the contour of the body. The three-dimensional, continuous rear light creates an unmistakable look.

With the extensive enhancements, the Panamera V6 and Panamera E-Hybrid continue to strengthen Porsche’s model range to meet varying customer preferences through a selection of power plant options.
