Zeekr shows a strong and classy lineup at 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit

One of the newest New Energy Vehicle brands in the Philippines put up a strong showing at the annual Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit. Zeekr, distributed by the Autohub Group, pulled up with a sleek lineup consisting of the 001, Zeekr X, Zeekr 7X, and the luxury people-hauler Zeekr 009.

The Zeekr X sits as the gateway to the brand, while retaining all the modern design and functional elements of what makes a Zeekr unique. It has a modern lighting design with double-edged DRL, frameless side mirrors with position memory, frameless doors with soft closing function, all in a size that’s easy to navigate within the city. The interior also boasts of unique amenities like the 13-speaker Yamaha Sound System, microfiber headliner, “ice block” ambient lighting, and the panoramic roof.

Next is the Zeekr 7X that’s poised to rival the Tesla Model Y. It has a more traditional SUV shape, but awash with futuristic appointments like the frameless doors as seen on the X. What makes the 7X stand out is its power. It has an 800V charging that can go 10% to 80% in 10.5 minutes. It also packs a punch with 646ps of power and can go 0-100kph in 3.8 secs.

My personal favorite in Zeekr’s lineup is the 001. Its body shape is called a ‘shooting brake’ where it combines the functionality of an estate or wagon, while having the rear end of a coupe for a sleeker silhouette. It’s also as fast as it looks with 544ps of peak power, up to 200kph, and can go 0-100 in 3.8 seconds. All while having a range of 620 km.

Last is Zeekr’s modern offering for the family – the 009. This luxury MPV is pure elegance with its styling inside and out. Despite its size though, it has a very low 0.27 drag coefficient making it slice through air on the highways.

The cabin is where all the niceties are. It has a 30-speaker Yamaha Sound System that includes speakers on the headrests themselves. There’s also a legit mini refrigerator with 8.6 liters of space, and Sofaro first class seats.

See all these and try them out yourselves at the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit. It’s happening until Sunday, October 26 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Best of all, admission is free!
