The Embassy of Italy in Manila commemorated the 80th Anniversary of the establishment of the Italian Republic with an elegant reception at the Italian Residence, celebrating the nation’s rich heritage and its enduring friendship with the Philippines.
The gathering welcomed members of the diplomatic corps, government officials, business leaders, and distinguished guests for an evening that showcased the best of Italian culture, craftsmanship, and industry.

Greeting guests upon arrival was the Lamborghini Temerario, Automobili Lamborghini’s newest High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) super sports car and successor to the iconic Huracán. Displayed prominently at the entrance of the Italian Residence, the Temerario embodied the spirit of Italian ingenuity, serving as a striking expression of the country’s excellence in design, technology, and engineering.
The celebration also brought together Italian Ambassador Davide Giglio and Lamborghini Manila Managing Director Enrique Jarlego II, with the Temerario providing a fitting backdrop to the occasion and reflecting the shared values of innovation, craftsmanship, and the longstanding relationship between Italy and the Philippines.

Throughout the evening, the Embassy highlighted Italy’s contributions to global culture, commerce, and industry while reinforcing the strong ties between the two nations. The reception reflected Italy’s ability to honor tradition while embracing progress—qualities that continue to define its global influence.
Complementing the celebration, the Lamborghini Temerario represents the next evolution of the legendary Sant’Agata Bolognese marque, ushering in a new era of electrified performance while remaining true to Lamborghini’s unmistakable character. Combining cutting-edge technology with bold design and exhilarating driving dynamics, it continues the brand’s tradition of redefining the super sports car.
Lamborghini Manila’s participation underscored the brand’s role as an ambassador of Italian excellence in the Philippines. Beyond its performance credentials, the Temerario embodies the passion, artistry, and engineering mastery that have distinguished Italian automotive design for generations.
As Italy celebrated eight decades of the Republic, the National Day reception served as a tribute to a nation whose influence extends beyond diplomacy into culture, design, technology, and world-class manufacturing. The presence of the Lamborghini Temerario perfectly complemented the occasion, reflecting Italy’s enduring pursuit of excellence through craftsmanship, engineering, and design.
