ACMobility, Shell open eight EV charging hubs in key locations across PH

ACMobility and Shell Pilipinas Corp. recently opened an EV Charging Hub at the Shell Mobility station in Mexico, Pampanga. The hub is one of several charging locations now operational through the partnership between ACMobility and Shell, with more sites opening soon.

ACMobility, the country’s leading provider of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and Shell Pilipinas Corporation have opened eight electric vehicle (EV) charging hubs in strategic Shell Mobility stations across the country, expanding access to electric mobility infrastructure beyond the capital region.

Through a partnership inked in September 2025, ACMobility has been rolling out EV charging infrastructure equipped with DC fast chargers in Shell Mobility stations on major highways and other key locations, making worry-free long-distance EV drives possible.

The newest hubs opened this month at Shell Mobility stations on the northbound and southbound sides of the North Luzon Expressway in Mexico, Pampanga— expected to serve motorists bound for popular northern destinations, among them Baguio City and La Union, and northern travelers headed back to Metro Manila.

Ana, Format and Alliances Manager, Shell Mobility; Paolo Barredo, National Sales Manager, Shell Mobility; Analiza Canlas, Retailer, Shell Mobility; and Mark Calo, North Luzon District Manager, Shell Mobility

“As we ramp up our efforts to build the Philippine EV Spine, we are grateful to have Shell as our partner in advancing the country towards sustainable mobility. Through our partnership, we’re making EV charging accessible along major thoroughfares that link key destinations across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,” said Carla Buencamino, ACMobility Head of Mobility Infrastructure.

“Through this partnership, we’re bringing together Shell’s wide presence in strategic locations and ACMobility’s expertise in building EV charging infrastructure. By combining our complementary strengths, we’ll be able to serve the country’s growing community of EV drivers,” said Jolo Valdez, Non-Fuel Retail and E-Mobility Manager for Shell Mobility.

ACMobility EV Charging Hubs are now open in the following locations:

  • Shell Mexico NLEX Northbound, Pampanga
  • Shell Mexico NLEX Southbound, Pampanga
  • Shell North Expressway Dau, Pampanga
  • Shell Subic, Zambales
  • Shell Mangaldan, Pangasinan
  • Shell Tanaytay Alaminos, Pangasinan
  • Shell Bago Aplaya Talomo, Davao City
  • Shell Matina Enclaves, Davao City

ACMobility and Shell aim to build charging hubs in a total 50 Shell locations with more than 100 charge points across the country. Other charging sites in Pampanga, Cavite and Camarines Sur are set to open soon, while hubs in Batangas, Bataan and Cebu are scheduled for construction.

All these hubs are integrated in ACMobility’s partner app Evro, which allows drivers to locate available charge points in real time, plan their charging schedule, and pay for charging sessions via GCash or credit card.

As of July 2026, ACMobility has over 200 charging locations across the country, with more charge points going online month on month.
