Ford goes bigger with the new Everest Platinum and Ranger Wildtrak X

Ford Philippines has raised the bar in the midsize segment with their new Ranger and Everest lineups. They now have more powerful performance, enhanced capability, more refinements and smarter technology.

The new Ranger gets more premium and now has a V6 Diesel engine. It will be available in Wildtrak X 4×4, Wildtrak 4×4, while the Ranger Raptor now only has the V6 EcoBoost gasoline engine. This gives customers more choices in their premium, off-road ready pickup lineup that’s more than ready to tackle the roads ahead both paved and not.

Meanwhile, the Everest gets a new Platinum trim. This comes exclusive with the V6 Diesel engine along with a refreshed Wildtrak, Sport+, and Active variants.

Also standard is the 10-speed automatic transmission that ensures you can maximize the whole power band of the new V6 Diesel engine, as well as the new 2.0L turbo diesel that’s in the other Everest variants.

Upgraded Performance

Filipinos now have access to a more affordable V6 power with the Everest and Ranger. They are available with a 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel that makes 250 PS of power and 600 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, other Everest variants get a revised 2.0L single turbo diesel engine that makes 170 PS and 405 Nm of torque. Both are paired to a 10-speed Automatic that’s available across the Everest and Ranger Wildtrak lineup.

The Ranger Raptor still has the FOX Live Shock Absorbers. Now, the Ranger Wildtrak X also hosts Bilstein Shock Absorbers exclusively, purpose built for the off-road and for the Ranger itself.
