Five people were killed after a tricycle collided with a van along the highway in Brgy. Sta. Rosa in Mulanay, Quezon on Tuesday morning.
According to initial investigation, the driver of the van lost control of the wheel while overtaking another vehicle.
All of the victims were ejected from the tricycle upon impact, were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The driver, identified as Arnel Tesico, is facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide and damage to property. – Michelle Zoleta, Emmanuel Tupas
