As a way to spice up its current Everest and Ranger models in the Philippines, Ford Philippines introduced two new variants at the 24th Henry Ford Awards last May 5, which are the Everest Sport and Ranger Sport Special Editions.

The Everest Sport Special Edition starts at Php 2,194,000, is available only in the 4×2 variant, and comes in two colors: Aluminum Metallic and Snowflake White Pearl.

Exterior changes that set this apart from the standard Sport include a matte black roof wrap that extends to a new rear spoiler and black 20-inch alloy wheels with a red insert to add contrast.

Otherwise, the interior is similar to the standard Sport in terms of finish and tech.
On the other hand, the Ranger Sport Special Edition comes with both 4×2 (Php 1,529,000) and 4×4 (Php 1,649,000) drivetrains but is much milder in terms of upgrades. It comes in five colors: Absolute Black, Arctic White, Blue Lighting, and Meteor Gray.

The only new addition to the exterior is the metal sports bar. The colors, grille, and 18-inch alloy wheels are similar to the standard Sport. Meanwhile, the interior also shares the same Ebony leather finish and tech, but with the addition of an additional retractable cup holder.

Both vehicles are powered by the same single-turbo 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel powerplant with 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
These two limited-run vehicles will be available to test drive at the Ford booth at the upcoming Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival this May 8 to 11, 2025 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City.
