Hongqi Philippines inaugurated its Manila Bay showroom and unveiled two new luxury models at an exclusive event last week.
The new showroom, owned and operated by Max888 Auto and located a few blocks away from SM Mall of Asia, became the venue of the launch of the Hongqi EH7 fully electric luxury sedan and the EHS7 fully electric luxury SUV.
The event marks a pivotal moment in Hongqi’s commitment to the Philippine market, underscoring the brand’s strategic and steady expansion across the country.
As the automotive industry accelerates toward a sustainable future, the EH7 and EHS7 are poised to elevate the standards of electric mobility. These flagship vehicles combine exhilarating performance, cutting-edge technology, and upscale design to deliver a truly world-leading driving experience.
Both the EH7 and the EHS7 feature Hongqi’s dual-motor AWD system, delivering an impressive output of 610 hp and 756 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds for the EH7, and 3.9 seconds for the EHS7.
Both models are powered by a robust 111 kWh next-generation battery pack, offering an exceptional driving range of up to 650 kms for the EH7 and 540 kms for the EHS7. Both boast fast charging technology, which enables the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes.
Both vehicles sport Hongqi’s distinctive design language, featuring sharp, smooth lines and a flowing profile. Other design highlights include a panoramic glass roof with 99% UV protection, concealed door handles, and soundproof front door glass that enhances cabin quietness.
Inside, both models feature hand-stitched Nappa leather seats that embody luxury and craftsmanship. Comfort is further enhanced by an Intelligent Damping Control System (IDCS), which adapts suspension settings in real time to deliver a smooth, composed ride.
The EH7 and EHS7 have earned a prestigious 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, reflecting their robust structural integrity, intelligent safety technologies, and commitment to protecting occupants with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) at Level 2 autonomy, including automatic emergency braking, a 360- degree around-view monitor, and parking assist.
Both models are offered in Executive and Flagship variants. The EH7 starts at ₱2,280,000.00 for the Executive and ₱2,880,000.00 for the Flagship variant, while the EHS7 starts at ₱2,580,000.00 for the Executive and ₱3,080,000.00 for the Flagship variant. The Flagship variants add premium enhancements such as upgraded interior ambient lighting, a more advanced audio system, and exclusive design touches with added power and range.
