Hyundai Motor Philippines presents its vision of modern mobility with the launch of the new Palisade Turbo Hybrid, refreshed Ioniq 5 EV, and the first-ever Ioniq 9 full-sized EV SUV. Blending their unmistakable premium design with genuine luxury accoutrements, these new offerings bring sophistication and luxury to modern and discerning Filipinos who seek refined luxury and future-ready technology.
Hyundai Palisade Turbo HEV Calligraphy
The new Palisade Turbo HEV features vertically-stacked daytime running lights and headlights which are positioned inboard of the DRLs. It features a full-length front LED lightbar, while the massive grille itself has a horizontal segmented pattern that emphasizes its width. A silver trim runs across the top of the windshield which is made to look continuous running the doors to the D-pillar and roof rails. At the back, the same vertically-stacked design echoes the front. Fitted with 21-inch wheels, it balances upscale refinement with a touch of ruggedness.
As its name suggests, the Palisade Turbo HEV is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged hybrid engine mated to a 6-speed automatic. All in all, it produces 334 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque from as low as 1,700 rpm.
As the top-of-the-line Calligraphy variant, it offers a sophisticated driving experience anchored in true luxury and technology. The cabin is filled with intuitive technologies, one being the fingerprint recognition system to operate the Audio, Visual, and Navigation system (AVN) as well as the engine start function. The integrated 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment screen provides a vast screen where the driver and passenger can access several functions. Furthermore, a heads-up display projects pertinent vehicle information in the driver’s field of view. A 14-speaker Bose sound system provides a high-quality auditory experience.
Elevating the experience for all passengers, the Palisade Turbo HEV boasts of power adjustable seats, ventilated seats for the first two rows, and a unique Relaxation Seat function for both the first and second-row seats. The all-new Palisade 2.5 Turbo HEV Calligraphy is available at all authorized Hyundai dealerships for P 3,980,000. It comes in four colors: Abyss Black Pearl, Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Creamy White Pearl, and Robust Emerald Pearl.
Hyundai Ioniq 5
Since its debut, the Ioniq 5 has been celebrated for its sophisticated design and progressive technology. With this update, it’s been elevated further making it even more attuned to the needs and convenience of both drivers and passengers.
At the front is a restyled bumper with a V-shape together with a longer rear spoiler and aero-style wheels. A newly added rear wiper improves visibility in challenging weather conditions, while digital side mirrors further enhance aerodynamics.
In terms of power and range, it now delivers up to 530 kilometers of all-electric range on a single charge. With a maximum output of 229 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, the Ioniq 5 offers responsive, refined performance that adapts confidently to any drive, whether through urban traffic or open highways.
In the cabin is the inside V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) function, enabling users to power small appliances or charge devices directly from the vehicle. The enhancement also brings additional Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, expanding Hyundai SmartSense capabilities including the Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning; to offer drivers confidence behind the wheel.
Adding to its prestige, the new Ioniq 5 is made-to-order, available in nine exterior and 4 interior colors – allowing up to 36 different color combinations. The Ioniq 5 is now offered in three variants—the GL Standard Range (P 2,840,000), GLS Standard Range (P 3,068,000), and the GLS Long Range (P 3,698,000).
Hyundai Ioniq 9 AWD Calligraphy
Finally, Hyundai Motor brings its flagship EV SUV, the Ioniq 9 to the Philippines. Embodying Hyundai’s philosophy of human-centric, cutting-edge technologies, this full-sized SUV boasts of cutting-edge design, innovative technology, and expansive interior space.
Outside, the Ioniq 9 takes on the “Aerosthetic” design that blends aero innovation with futuristic styling. Like other members of the Ioniq family, it features parametric pixels integrated into the LED light units. The silhouette is defined by a smooth, curved roofline, creating a streamlined aerodynamic profile and a low drag coefficient. Underneath, it has active air flaps and a 3D-shaped underbody color, as well as 21-inch aero optimized wheels, and, in a Hyundai first, hidden antennas.
The cabin delivers superior space and comfort. With a 3,130mm wheelbase and spacious 6-seat configuration, the cabin features relaxation comfort seats and full-flat capacity to create a lounge-like atmosphere and a versatile 1,323 liters of cargo space.
The 12.3-inch panoramic curved infotainment display seamlessly integrates digital controls and connectivity, offering intuitive access to navigation, entertainment, as well as vehicle functions and information. Powered by a 110.3-kWh battery, Ioniq 9 delivers up to 600 kilometers of all-electric range. Moreover, its optimized electrical architecture means being able to charge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 24 minutes. It also comes with V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) functionalities for both inside and outside.
The Ioniq 9 retails for P 4,580,000 and can be ordered at select Hyundai dealerships. Each Ioniq 9 will be made-to-order making it a truly exclusive car. It comes in a range of 10 exterior colors and four interior colors, which can be mixed and matched to up to 39 combinations, providing every customer with a personalized ownership experience.
The Palisade, Ioniq 5, and Ioniq 9 all come with a 5-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first. While warranty coverage for its high-voltage battery is worth 8 years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
